We establish two utilities, a weather retrieval function and a mathematical evaluator, then permit GLM-5 to independently determine when to activate them according to the user's natural language inquiry. We perform a complete tool-invocation cycle: the model picks the appropriate function, we run it locally, return the outcome, and GLM-5 formulates a final comprehensible reply. We then transition to structured data generation, directing the model to distill financial information from unstructured text into clean, machine-readable JSON format.
